The Story

This model has been developed and produced for Locomotion Models by Bachmann Europe Plc in a partnership with Rails of Sheffield. 

The ‘Improved Precedent’ class started in 1905, with the LMS Railway inheriting 76 in the 1923 grouping, and they were often known by their nickname ‘Jumbos’ due to their performance pulling large amounts of coal.

‘Hardwicke’ would be a great addition to a layout or collection for an enthusiast with an interest in steam powered locomotives. It is depicted here as seen in its later service life with a White Cab Roof.
