Photographers at a photography convention at Derby, 1886. The camera at the left was used to expose huge glass plates. Cameras like this were used by official railway photographers. This image was taken by a photographer employed by the Midland Railway, possibly Thomas Scotton, who was employed at the company's Derby works.
