'Warping in', 1962.

A mural (22 ft by 8 ft) commissioned by the Science Museum, London, and painted by A R Thomson RA in 1962, illustrating the necessity of manual labour in sailing ships. The picture shows men at work at the capstan, with cargo, and on the sails.
